DEVONSHIRE CAPITAL GIVES FINANCIAL BACKING TO LOW CARBON INVESTORS Bloomberg News
26 Sep 2008 UK-based investment management company Low Carbon Investors has announced investments from Devonshire Capital. A press release by London-based, privately held LCI did not disclose a financial sum or elaborate on how the money will be used. Together with the investment, Andrew Affleck, co-founder and managing partner of Singapore-based, privately held Devonshire Capital, has joined LCI as an executive director, according to the release. LCI manages the Low Carbon Accelerator (AIM: LCA) closed-ended investment fund listed on AIM. Affleck said that "as a consequence of the current challenges facing the global financial services sector, opportunities have arisen for quality operators so this is a good time to be a low carbon investor."
